MEET LAURA HEYMANN

Laura found her creative passion early and set out to become a graphic designer after working on her high school newspaper in Arlington, Texas. After studying journalism at UT Austin and working in print media for several years across Austin, Las Vegas, and Dallas, she began designing on a freelance basis in 2009. Once the workload increased enough, she left her day-job as an Art Director, making her own business a full-time operation in 2010, and the rest is history!

While Laura completed almost all of her undergraduate work at UT Austin and considers herself a Longhorn to the core, she proudly holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University with a dual emphasis in Business and Women's Studies. 🤘

She serves clients remotely from the Greater Houston area, and still spends time in DFW regularly. Laura’s history of service to the Arlington community runs deep, where she has served on numerous boards and commissions, including the Citizens’ Environmental Committee, the SHHS Alumni Association, and is a Past Chair of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Women’s Alliance and the Inspired Women Luncheon. Laura was also a member of Women Inspiring Philanthropy for several years, serving as an instrumental part of an organization which has granted more than $1 million to area non-profits. She currently serves on the Women’s Alliance Advisory Council and leads a monthly discussion for the Women’s Alliance called Peer-to-Peer Mindshare, and she is also getting involved in Houston area groups like the Fort Bend Regional Partnership, Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and the Katy Area Chamber.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys walking/hiking, reading, swimming, perusing art museums, traveling, keeping up with her adult children, and she practices new languages daily (2500+ day Duolingo streak & counting)!
